A trip across memory pond

I love this scene. This pond holds special memories for my family. It is quite the fishing hole for all of the cousins. Although my husband and I have moved from this area, my parents still live down the road from this pond. It's amazing when I think back how trivial something seems at the time, but can later flood the emotion plains of life.

My boss newscoma and our sports editor squirrelly have decided to participate in Project 365 offered by Flickr.com. They plan to post at least one random pic every day on their blogs for the next year. Although I do not have nor intend to get a Flickr site, I thought I could play along.
